About AdventuresInVista

Welcome to AdventuresInVista - you’re guide to getting the most from Microsoft’s newest OS - Windows Vista.

My name is Dan Nash, - I’m a 25 year old entrepreneur and computer geek from Lincolnshire, UK.

I’ve been using computers for 17 years - going right back in the heyday of Amstrad, when MS-DOS was “cool” and floppy disks were the only way to install stuff.

Since then, I’ve used most versions of Windows, learn programming, bought a couple of Apple Macs, started an online music store called Musoswire, and generally continued down the long and winding road of geekyness.

For many years friends, family, vague acquaintances and business colleagues have come to when their computer is mis-behaving. That’s cool - I like fiddling with computers, and I’m glad to be helpful. I’d never thought of sharing my knowledge on the web though.

With the introduction of Windows Vista, and all the information and mis-information being thrown around by the press, I decided to change that and start AdventuresInVista, with the idea of helping others understand the new operating system, debunk the myths, and provide hints and tips for users of the new operating system.

I hope you enjoy AdventuresInVista - and if you have any comments or questions, please don’t hesitate to Contact me.
